Port Hardy Squid?

Does anyone know if there’s squid to be caught off the docks around Port Hardy?

There was some a few years ago, but I have a feeling it was earlier in July?

Saw this in Winter Harbour in July- looked fun and delicious!

have seen them under the bait shack docks , and heard rumour they were in behind the quarterdeck this year ….

Usually if some are around there is a crowd. Did not see anyone yesterday jigging squid. Lots of folks catching pinks at the sea gate dock.

Thanks, ya I have friends in town that want to try for squid, but the weather diverted us today. Might hold off then but good to hear the fish are in. Will see what this rain brings.
