I plan on coming on a fishing trip to Port Alice July 8 - Aug. 8 this summer and need a bigger place to stay. I have found a furnished 2 bedroom furnished Apt, but really need a 3 bedroom place. If you can help please let me know.

Thanks Jody

might be tough with that pulp mill going full tilt now, many workers have moved in, there are some nice places to rent in coal harbour, but no fuel there

I'm actually open to coal harbour as well, but haven't found anything there. Any suggestions would be helpful. Yea fuel really isn't an issue.

Thanks Jody

make sure you have a locking gas cap, lots of $$$ for the launch and parking and hit the tides right....

If you are looking there as well, why not stay in Hardy, then you can fish the best of both worlds. It is only 13 k from PH to CH.

You might want to give WFP a call and see if you can rent one of their staff houses in Juene Landing as the office is closed and all their staff are either in McNeill or Holberg.

Cheers

Thanks I'll try giving WFP a call. Juene Landing would be great as I'd rather be in Port Alice, becaue of the free ramp. With the kids lots of short day trips just playing in the boat. Would rather not pay to launch just for an hour or two.

3 bedroom suites in coal hbr call marie at 250 710 6464.
Just talked to the wharfenger there appently there will be gas at the native dock there, just waiting for final permits, should be good to go in a couple of weeks, they also have moorage avail, not much tho you would have to book it soon , guys are only paying 900 a year there so its reasonable, at 10 a day to launch it will be cheaper to moor

Thanks guys,

Called Maria and the only 3 bed she has is taken during that time.

WFP wasn't hip on the idea.

Guess will cram int the 2 bed in Alice. Good excuse to take more overnighters :)
