Porlier Producing

For those of you living up this way, was out at Porlier Pass today and picked up 2 springs and lost 1 other. The two springs weighed in at an astonishing 18 lbs and 8 lbs. Also grabbed my limit of prawns on the way. An awsome day on the water. Seas calm and almost warm at times. Was within shouting distance of one other boat and they reported having 1 fish. In all we saw 5 boats out there. Looks like Porlier is back!

Awesome! What depths were they at, and what were you using?

To fish or not to fish,
What a stupid question!
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, teach a man to fish, and he will sit on a boat drinking beer for a life time :D

Excellent! Thanks for the report. Was curious how things were with the great (but kinda cold) weather.

Try 150'. A 4" coyote spoon, mostly white with a thin yellow stripe along one edge was the best spoon. Good luck.

Good news hook, thinking of heading towards active this week.will post how i did.
