Playing with my jigs...

These are a couple of finishes that I put onto my hand poured jigs the other day. The base color is a near indestructible super glow finish, with secondary color tones and raised molded eyes. The finish does not rub or wear off, it is 1000 times or more long lasting compared to other lure paints.

Ya, you know it! I got a lot to learn...wish I had the patients to learn how to paint like Tom Moss. One day, maybe...but then it would not be a hobby any more. LOL :)

You could become a "Lure artist"..... :)
 
They all glow...it will be fun to get out and knock a few with them. I am buying another Avet reel and another Trevala for salmon and lighter bottom fish. I really like my heavier Avet/Trevala combo, but this time around, I am going lighter. Anyhoo, just playin' around with patterns and colors. I have a couple of other cool jigs that I'll share later in the week...got to rig 'em up first and finish them.

@Orion - I am just toying around...I suppose that I could make you a couple. What weight do you need? These ones are 3oz, but I have about 8 sizes.

I use one similar to the glow -white colored one in your first post, and it outfishes everything 3 to 1, its heavier around 16 ounces though.
 
Cool looking jig's DHA. Nice work buddy. Can't wait to get my shop built at home so I can play around with lures too:).

This is the start of my next Jig Project - They will be 1lbs Squids. These are the heads...glow/UV or Glow and then a few colored UV's
I'll post more pictures when I am done finishing them.
