Pfd

We just pick up three new mustang PFD’s two self inflating and one hydrostatic one for whoever is driving solo.. rule on the new tinny , wear one or stay onshore. I can look in the morning what models.
 
I just bought a new one from cabelas. Their brand name on it. Seems like a well put together unit. Quite a bit cheaper than the mustangs on the same rack.

Make sure you’re also wearing it if you are boarded by Coast Guard, fisheries, RCMP, or any other authority. If it’s sitting beside you or anywhere else not on you, it’s not considered a PFD. Fines will ensue, unless you have traditional (non-inflating) jackets aboard for all crew.
 
After doing some research I am getting my father a hydrostatic one and three manual pull mustangs for the rest of us. If people are o. The boat they will be wearing one. They are comfortable and easy to wear. I am also buying mustangs.
 
I'm not sure on the model but I've been wearing a mustang hydrostatic one for years. You can see it in my avatar pic. Love it, never on the water without it.
