You obviously don't understand the anti Ontario bias in British Columbia. Us Westerners have gotten the short straw from our Federal Government (not just in the Fisheries field) for as long as we have lived and like to take it out on Ontario and Quebec

Thanks highlites ... good territory to fish. Over the years, I fished a lot of places from Algonquin Park south. I asked about the LCR because when I lived in Markham, Unionville (80 to 05) I could walk the smaller streams with the 5 foot bamboo rod I made and catch 10" to 12" brook trout. The small ponds on our golf course had bass. I wasn't aware that the lower mainland had been raped. I assumed it would be like the M/U area or probably even better.
