So how late is too late in the year for the west coast?
Rains seem later and later every year and run timing seems like it’s changing.
I’ve got an opportunity to head back to winter harbour Sept 30 this fall but my boat is only 18” so weather will be the major player, but I’d guess most fish will be inside anyway by now, except for the tuna of course…
I fish Rupert arm quite a bit for the coho off the beach or from a kayak but figured if I can get a lucky weather window and get to kains or cliffe and stay out at WH, might be some very late and hopefully massive Coho and maybe a wayward chinook.
And if the weather is really spot on, get one last shot at a Hali off shore.
