Northern Lights

Not too often we get to see the northern lights in the lower mainland. Was very cool to see. I think they may be visible tomorrow as well.

Was just outside taking pictures, can’t see the colour with your eyes but the camera picks it up pretty good. Cool to see.

Sheringham Lighthouse Point from Gordan's beach last night. Wife wanted to go on a date, and didn't even know the lights were coming out. Got some better pictures and it was more spectacular when we got home but I'd wanted to see them on my boat ever since I started fishing so from the beach was pretty special.

My daughter lives in Cold Lake Alberta, and they had a spectacular show up there as you can imagine.

My cousin lives in Hinton Alberta, and took this photo last night. This one is rather stunning. Taken from a forestry trunk road, the lack of city lights washing it out probably helped.

Friday night in Qualicum was really to see. New experience for sure.
