Nootka "The Highway"

I am going to Nootka next week and was hoping someone could tell me where there area called the Highway is??

My understanding is that it is about on the 50 fathom line, about 10 miles out into the ocean.

Just returned yesterday from Nootka. Bearing 210 about 12 miles out to the 200 foot deep ledge. Fish 60-120 feet deep and anywhere in that general area seems to be productive.

Thanks for the info hope to get out there and try it. Will let the forum know how it is when I get back. Ricker you said bearing 210 out 12 miles but bearing from where? How was the fishing??

I have read some where that the highway is 3 miles out of the whistle can in Esperanza sound, 10 miles out and now bearing 210 12 miles out. Any other info would be greatly appreciated. I just got all the charts of nootka area but still confused.
