Nootka/Esperanza - Any Recent Reports???

Does anyone have any recent reports for Nootka and/or Esperanza?

I will be going out first thing Monday morning and I'm trying to decide which way to go.

Want to try Halibut in the AM and then switch to Salmon after the morning tide change.

Just got back from 3 days of fishing out of tahsis. Sweet weather. Had some great hali action just past the whistle buoy 2 kms. out esperanza. A couple in the late 30's were the biggest. Tonnes of action though. A few lings and snapper as well. Off friendly cove out of Nootka found a serious bite one morning for springs. A couple hours of solid action that just ended. A guy caught a 39lber day before we fished there. We weren't so lucky. 3 days was too short! Back to reality in the AM. Best of luck! Till next trip to the coast...

We fished Ferrer point Wednesday but were blown off by the wind.
Went back down to Birdwood which was hot with Coho and Small springs.
Eventually, we were able to limit out on legal size springs but there was a lot of catch @ release. " Coho killer" & gypsy spoons worked well.
