Nitinat Lake

About 1/2 way down nitinat lake on the (if your going from the ramp To the gap) left hand side (i also want to say south but dont know my bearings?) it seems that theres a campground with docks and what not, to get there do you jusyt continue along the road through the town at the ramp end of the lake? Anybody know the name of this place? im trying to find a ramp closer to the gap for a 14' boat than the main docks at the very end. Thanks

it is called doobwah landing, not sure if that is correct spelling, good luck finding it if you have never been there before, the orginal road in was over grown and washed out years ago, and the other road in is brutal if you can find it, i wont even try and explain it to you, i have been there at least 20 times and i still have a hard time finding it, it has become so over grown and the road so washed out, but i was there last spring and seen a bunch of what looked like tree planters and then the usual camp set up. back in the late 80's early 90's my buddys dad and his group set up there big time for the season, brought in big docks and out houses you name they had it but it got overgrown and then they had issues with squatters and natives so they left but who knows they might be back now, it is a beautiful spot if you can find it, if i find my old map with mileages on it i will let you know, watch for bears there toooo many to count

last time i was in nitinat (september 06) it looked like there was atleast a dozen boats in there and trucks and all sorts of things parked

I think its on the back roads map book. I found it with the help of a GPS and still had trouble.
