I fished there for many years in the mouth and at high tide the fishing was combat but amazing. I have done poorly there the last few years. Does anyone know the status of the hatchery and why the decline? The fish were very different. They were foot ball shaped and very dark on top. I do not see many of them in Port Renfrew as ewll.
