New wind and wave app

New forecasting tool is live. It updates a 48hr forecast every 6 hours (when national weather updates are released). I put a bit of a spin on it to try and create a more localized version. I'd like to extend the range.. so far I find anything beyond 48hrs to be a complete crapshoot as far as forecasting though.

On map load you will see current conditions based on wind stations, weather buoys etc and then the forecasted weather for that hour. You can scroll or click play to watch the 48hr forecast.

Love your app, check it almost daily and used it many times this summer before crossing Georgia Strait and for double checking the regs. Used it also on a trip up to the Broughtons, very helpful for wind, waves and fishing regs. Keep up the great work!!!

Some new features.. Load the page and then once the white target icon has loaded in the bottom right, click it and the select an area using the radius on screen. If you are on mobile you won't see the radius.. youll just have to click somewhere on the map. It will then take the weather for that area (example i selected SOG where i'd typically cross over).

You will see max and average wind and waves over the next 48 hours. You can also see it in table view or get an AI summary of the upcoming weather.

** The page is loading a little slow on first load.. this should be resolved soon.
