Hi everyone, I'm new to the board and new to British Columbia. I recently obtained a position with a hunting/fishing Outfitter in Northeastern BC and would like to get some info on the area before I head out your way. I was wondering what type of freshwater fish are present in the Prophet/Muskwa River areas?. Any info on what lakes and or rivers hold rainbow, char, pike, etc. would be a great help Just would like to know what gear exactly I should be bringing, float tube, spinning gear, fly gear, etc?

THX...any help is appreciated.

grayling, dollies, walleye, pike, burbot and whitefish for the area. ponds along highway stocked w/rainbow.

5 diamonds and yellow jigs for pike and walleye. try near mouths of rivers where tea colourd creeks run into muddy larger rivers.

in clear rivers north of ft nelson ( tetsa, Mcdonald, Toad) dollies will take near all spinning tacle and spoons. Grayling on flies such as black gnat, royal coachman and mosquitoes
