New Rhys Davis chovie heads

I haven't seen them, but will be curious if they work. The amount of time spent fiddling with hook placement, toothpicks, etc, to get that perfect drill bit roll ... would be nice to have it just work right out of the box.

I have found the newer JDF style heads are easier to get a tight roll.

Used 'em and got 'em. I'm not making a special trip to the tackle store or nothing to buy these. They're designed for bigger baitfish and they work fine. It's kinda hard to screw up making a good roll with these..but if you can rig a 'chovy in the old head, you can rig a 'chove in the new one. No big deal IMO.

Ran them with whole blue/med herring and a wire last week up at a lodge work pretty nice on the large bait:)

The bullet roll was oufished by the original 3-0 at Bute inlet.
We took it off and put on another original and got a fish.
Hmmmmmmmmmmm.

I was pretty excited to try them out but found I got better roles with the old style. Anyone want to buy some...?

Only tried them once so far this year and not to impressed. I get the impression to that they may work better with larger anchovies, i only had med's left over from last year
