Hello, I am a newbie to your wonderful fishing website.

I joined because I absolutely love fishing the west coast of BC. I live in NW Washington and usually visit Barclay sound every summer for several days and sometimes more.

I've fished Haida Gwaii several times, places like hippa island, Kano inlet, and West skidegate channel VIA Queen Charlotte city.

I've also been a yearly visitor to Bamfield for over 20 years and have had the pleasure to make friends with Jeff (osama) from mills landing. In fact I was there last August when they made the treck offshore for tuna.

I have a great respect for BC and the great fisheries that they offer and the fantastic, friendly people that inhabit the tight knit communities on west coast. Were it not for my dad introducing me to BC fishing many years ago I would most likely be in a padded cell under 24 hour watch somewhere. My trips to BC let me collect my sanity away from the hustle bustle high stress city life here at home......Anyway enough rambling.......hopefully I can contribute a few things along the way, and just want to say thanks for allowing a wing nut to join your great forum.

Welcome Ted.

Are you a friend of Goatram's and Dragonballs from the Red and Black site? If you are then we met you at the last boat show down there?

If not, welcome anyways.

Yes, I was with goatram and dragonballs at the boat show and yes I remember meeting you guys (thanks for donating to our state coffers on your way back home LOL).....Thanks for the welcome to your forum and I hope you west coast BC boys have a great season of fishing this year. I only have one request....If you would be so kind as to leave just a few fish swimming so myself and my friends might get lucky enough to catch a few springers this coming August.

Thanks
