Today I get my new LowancE home and go to install the data on my Navionics, not successful I contact the local Marine store I bought from ( shop local they say, oh I did).
And asked him, he couldn't tell me but said the Navionics rep is in the store, hold on! After a few seconds the store employee gets back on and says "The Navionics rep says go on YOUTUBE " and that's the service I got
I think it fricken sucks after I just spent 1800 bucks, ok if it was the Navionics rep he could have just said it's my day off if it was his day off, but just Go ON YOUTUBE, WTF!!
shop local for better support???
What do u think?

Call mike at harbour chandler,
He won't hold it against you for not buying there and will help out
I don't care what anyone says there is no service in the lower mainland for lowrance to compare to harbour chandler, I get better deals then local including overnight shipping

I really can't be to pissed at the store , it's the fricken Navionics rep, to just reference YOUTUBE, the store is usually excellent but boy the ball was dropped here.Although I would have thought the store employee might have kinda super coated the reps response but no..
Might have to groval to Mike, thanks!

X2 Mike at HC sure takes his time to explain things to you and find solutions. Awesome service!!
Cheers

Your navionics card should prompt you to use the maps once inserted. Unless you are doing a update from the navionics Web site, there ant much do with the card.

Ya downloading from Navionics Web Site for map.
I got it now had to figure it out but I was able to do it on my own after I bugged the heck out of one of the employees at the shop I bought it at until I could put one and one together and it worked out.
Thanks

Oh and if the Navionics Rep ever visits this thread, your response to look at YOUTUBE got me nothing .......... with an attitude like yours , your lucky your the only game in town JERK !

I think the store you were talking to might have been tugging you along. Don't think Mr. Moore is around, and he is a real good guy to deal with and willing to help.

Not sure the rep that was in the store was the person you mentioned or not , but I have known the store mgr for a very long time and he has never told me anything I couldn't rely on. Also, thinking back a bit after the store mgr told me the rep was in the store and he'd get him, it was the store employee that came on the phone later and told me what the rep said, so in fact I was told by two separate people that the Navionics rep was in the store.
Anyway, I got it figured out, took me a bit longer but its all good now .......... But the Navionics rep that was in that store that day, is still a JERK !!!

This goes back a couple years. I was able to get the reps cell number so I thought right on I can call and get my problem fixed. So I call the cell number, tell him who I am and what I was having a problem with. Guess what his first reply was to me?? HOW THE HELL DID YOU GET MY CELL NUMBER!! He didn't give a **** about my issue nor was even remotely interested in helping with the issue.

This particular fella frequents the boat shows and is of course at the Lowrance, Simrad etc, booth. And guess what, nice as pie from what I experienced. It seems to me that he doesn't make his cash being nice to others that have issues with their product but selling them, and it definatley shows!! A REAL DICK!!
