Hi there,

I'm looking for the dimension of a My Wedge or Yamaha transom saver for a 150 hp. I think the unit for My W edge is the same for 115-350 hp.
I'm looking for:
  1. overall length
  2. Diameter
  3. Hole Diameter
  4. Hole depth
Also need to know if there is chamfer on the inside hole to clear seals?
thanks for the help.

I have used one of the older Universal MyWedge supports now for years. Its a block of hard rubber with a slot cut in it that fits around the tilt rod and is held in place when the engine is lowered on to it. After having a 90hp swivel bracket destroyed on logging roads from not being able to properly secure the engine while trailering, I dont leave home with out it. This is the unit I have --- http://www.m-ywedge.com/products.html Just wish they made it from any colour than black. I have to remind the mechanics that its in place because it does not standout against a Merc engine. Vossie, I dont think you will have a problem with using one on a 150 .

These are from the same model. I use on a Yamaha F150. Send me your email address or number and I can send pictures. Can’t seem to get them up on here. Let me know when you have some made, I could use a spare or 2.
8.75” overall length
5” hole depth
.735” inside diameter of hole.
2” diameter at the base, 1.57” for the main body, tapers to .96” at the top.
