If you take a greeny over the bow for example, it will not matter how much over hang you have on the hatch. Water will get forced up and over it unless the edge seal is tight. Its cheap maintenance to replace them every ten years or so.

Jesus I never thought of that. Everytime I get into weather I ride that hunk of sh** like it's rented so that very well could be the problem!
