Just seems like they popped up without a clear mandate to work with the organizations that have been struggling for years to get the attention of DFO Ottawa. I haven't encountered them at the SFAB Conference Board or SFI. They could be engaged at local SFAC level as their focus appears to be Port Renfrew from what I gather.

The solution isn't to make a bunch of random noise IMO, but rather to organize a professional delegation to Ottawa to present a sound and positive business case that sets out how the recreational fishery provides a clear benefit to Canada's economic response to this tariff crisis.

They attended the SFI conference and Big Splash last year and our connected to the Area 29 SFAC as I understand it they are very much about Port Renfrew SRKW and Cowichan Steelhead hatchery .
