Moorage/Sooke/bamfield

Big fishing week next week. Want to leave the boat in Sooke (save on gas by not boating there in the mornings from Victoria harbour) for a couple of days. Then thinking of heading to bamfield(by boat) for a couple of days. We did a ukee trip last year but we agree that we want to stay off of the banks and in Barkley sound. We had trouble finding the fish on the south bank last year and did way better in the islands without getting everybody sick.

Is there any daily moorage available in Sooke with new new marina. If so what is the name of marina???


Is there moorage and accommodations in Bamfield. If so name of marina/accommodations.

You may be hard pressed to get accommodation at Bamfield with such short notice but here are a couple options

Don't know about the new marina in Sooke, but you could try Sunny Shores in Sooke I'm sure try would have space.
