Marine Charger Question

I just bought a Noco Genius Gen 1 mini 4 amp charger. It has permanant pos/neg
hookups and ac outlet. Can I leave all the battery cables hooked up when charging or
do I have to clear cables from the neg post before charging?

wire it in permanently. you dont need to fiddle with anything once its hooked up. i have mine wired in permanently with a large outdoor plug for shore power connects.

For a first time use i will recomend that you remove all the terminals that are connected to the battery, clean all the terminals and the battery posts. Use a thin layer of dilectric grease on each terminal and reinstall all the terminals including the charger terminals. There is no need to remove the terminals when charging.

Remember no wire brush on terminals, just soft fine emery cloth to remove dirt and corrosion. Harsh scratchy wire brush will quickly expose bare copper which corrodes faster, so you have to clean more often.
