Because things are a little late this year, the springs are still around.
Picked up two and lost a couple more last Friday, a buddy boated three and lost 4 on Sun, so there is still some good #'s around. Bere Pt has been good for me, but Black Bluff and the slide have been good as well. One sleeper is Lady Ellen to Ledge Pt. on a flood.
The nets have been out since monday and will continue until Fri, so areas like "the Wall", Baronets and Double Bay have been wall to wall nets.
There is lots of socks around, but can be frustrating to fish as schools go by without a bite, then all of a sudden, the bite is one. Pinks galore, although they are starting to slow down. Coho are around, but not in any great #'s.
It is Fogust here, so the sun only comes out for a little bit in the afternoon, make sure you have a compass, GPS and charts as it is pea soup almost every morning.
Good luck and enjoy the scenery
Cheers
