I'm using the Lowrance Global map 100--and if anyone has the chart software for the island to go with it, I'd love to get it. You can't buy it anymore.

I have one - nice unit, easy menus, Navionics Gold Chart Cards. All around nice package for the price. Go with the Lowrance GPS only unit though - save your money for a good finder. Lowrance finders are so-so. I ended up with a Furuno Finder and the Lowrance 3500 - great combination.

As well, I just upgraded another boat to a Global Map 7500C - big 10" diplay is pretty nice if you budget and mounting space will allow - US $ 1564.00 at http://www.roguewavemarine.com/store/product.php?productid=3616&cat=34&page=1 Rogue Wave will likely have the best price on you 3500c as well.

You can check on pricing for the either unit at www.froogle.com.
