What kind of power are you looking for? For your big Grady I wold reccommend at least a pair of big V-6's. A pair of 150's is really running on the ragged edge of what it will take to power it when you get into any sport of water. Right Now, SG Power is dumping 250HP Suzuki's for $1599, and the 300's are not much more then that. Or if you only use it say 40 or 50 hours a year, there are lots of older twin 2 strokers out there for under 5 grand a pair. One really has to think how much he'll use them versus what he spends. The extra 20 or 30 grand can sure buy a lot of fuel and repairs.

yea weve talked to guys that have repowered with 175 suzukis from 200 yamaha carbed engines, and they have all told us that the suzukis have more power than there older 200's. I agree 150's are just too small for the hull.
Were looking at used engines proabably under 15grand with no more than a couple hundred hours... there hard to comeby meeting all our credentials but they pop up every now and then. If 2-stroke we will only repower with 200/225's, and the only 4-strokes light neough for our pod and still big enough are the 175's.. unless we went single and controversial with a 350v8.
