Looking for a place to keep my boat for the summer

Hi All,
I'm not sure if anyone out there has had any difficulities with their brides but I'm having some problems with mine. Therefore I'm looking for a place where I can keep my boat. I would like to keep it at someone's property where I have access when I want to go fishing. I'm hanging around Nanaimo/Nanoose but I'd have to say that I'm living a bit of a nomadic lifestyle at the moment. Kind of like the hunter gatherer bedouins of Africa.

If anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them. Always looking for a fishing buddy to go fishing with...

Here is how my boat is setup at the moment.

Not sure if any of us have problems with our wives? You're joking right? lol
I like your boat and would help if I could. :)

Thanks guys. I'm sure I'll find something, already have a few tips that I have to look into.

Hi Springtime
There would be liability issues with that so I would have to be on board. Even though I'm probably the liability :D

if it were me, the boat would be stayin home, and the bride would be shipped out if she couldn't handle it, but hey that's just me.
cheers and gl with that, ferret

Agreed! Lol. I wouldn't even let that conversation start to take place lol. Might be easier to just find her a new home! I like that shelter where did you get that one? She sits nice and high

That's what I need....a dirty oar.
The shelter is one of the Cdn Tire tarp garage. I added 3' PVC tubing as extensions to the frame tubing. It brouught the peak height to 12'3", just enough to get the radar tower underneath. I don't think I spent much more than $300 on the whole thing. Almost forgot that I have the bases screwed to 2x6's and then large rocks placed on the 2x6's to keep it from lifting from wind. I also run some straps from the boat into the rafters and it can blow all it wants and nothing moves.
