Local Lakes for water skiing/tubing??

Does anyone know where the closest lake from victoria to take a boat and go waterskiing/ tubing? I want to take my boat out but dont want to drive up to shawnagan. Thetis lake (is there even a boat ramp)? Elk/beaver lake??? matheson?? Is there HP restrictions?

Elk is the only lake in and around Victoria for water skiing. It too has HP restrictions and you can only go in one direction and have to stay within the buoys with HP over 10 hp.

Actually you can ski in Prospect too, but the ramp is horrendous and you wouldn't really want to put in there. Most skiers there live on the lake. Elk is the better option. Those are the only two in Victoria that allow skiing.

elk lake sounds good. ive got a 115hp on 15.5' would that be to much?

........I forgot about Prospect Lake for that very reason, ramp is treacherous.

Not maintained, no parking, very long way down to water from road backwards.
