As a side note, you MUST re-register your boat EVERY 10 YEARS.....
i found this out a few years ago.......
at one time,one could go into a ''federal building'' with old registration paper transfered over,a bill of sale and ' the clerk handed over your new regie. in short order......
now, you have to submit photos of your boat as well..............................................
i'm good until 2022 before i renew..............seems there is a hefty fine for not having an up to date registration.........
