I wanted to honour our veterans, past and present. Here’s a picture of my father who served with the Buffalo Squadron during WW2. He is directly beneath the downward pointing prop on the right hand side. The picture was taken in Scotland in 1944. His generation is mostly gone although my father in law at 100 is still with us.

My father in law served in the RAF.
He was interned twice in POW camps in Europe at the ripe old age of 22.
