Launching in a china creek.

Heading out for sox in the am tommorrow, but never launched there.

Anything i need to know?
Is it in good shape?
do i have to worry about tides?
Is the bamfield rd in decent shape?

Thanks

Lorne

I agree 100%... then just park across the road..
Thats what Im thinking of doing next week...
Stay away from China Creek this weekend...

nevermind china creek, clutesi was a zoo this morning. 4:05 this morning the lineup was starting and coming back was a gong show too with the tide super low and the river ripping.Saw a few boats get smashed into the dock

assuming you got the ok for parking Lorne,
thinkin it's a $hit $how there these days , 5-6 k of logging rd , road is decent , just dusty , ramp is great ,
outta curiosity , why not Clutsei , alot easier i think ,
nice smooth flat run out , , 15 mins only , nice fresh water flush in the river when ur done too : )

Ive launched there on a busy weekend and a low tide and it was the opposite of fun. I know china will be busy but at least its 1 min from the fishing grounds. Whats up with the parking at china?

China creek wasn't too bad this morning for launching, but maybe that was just my perspective as we were already moored.

Guys were parking in every nook and cranny, even up the hill when you exit the campground.

The road was amazing however, just one short stretch of dust, the rest very smooth and non-dusty.

Can't stand crowds, this is probably one busy weekend with the great sockeye fishing..

I hear yah! not a big fan myself. last year we only fished during the week and it was still busy! however, im so retardly busy at work this may be my only shot to get out..

thats weird. Cause i talked to the lady an hour ago and she said you can launch and just try and find a place to park where ever.
