Heading to kyuquot fishing tomorrow. Pulling boat to fair harbour. Living on the boat. We want to target ling. Heard kyuquot reef and another place called Jurassic park are good spots. Any good tips for these area or other location if any. Where are they!!! Not sure even where they are. Thks in advance. Appreciate it!!

Jurassic point is just north of Tatchu point and sandstone (south of Kyuquot). There are a few pinnacles a bit off shore and further out is the reef. Study your charts or gps and you'll see them. Drift over the reef and you'll hit lings on the descent. Good halibut fishing further offshore. Lings are also lurking in the structure around Grassy island.

Yes, that is what the locals refer to as Jurassic Park because the bottom fish are all much bigger up there but it is a bit of a run and can be sporty up there.
You can fish the reef for lings or out on the highway. A few weeks back I just drifted from the east end of the reef with the wind/tide in to the south of Lookout and we were picking up lings and hali on the flats.
