Is there any action off a Kone Zone, do they work with hootchies, I have one in the box growing dust..... thought I might dig it out and try it on the center pole...... thanks[^]

It won't give a hootchie any action. When I've used one I've used it as a dummy flasher or run spoons or bait with it.

As long as you attach your leader to one of the offset positions I would think that it will impart a slow roll like they advertise. If you want a faster or more dramatic roll I would use a flasher or certain types of dodgers. Personally I have only used Kone Zones for attracters off my downrigger line, not as a means to give movement to my hootcies.

Long live wild salmon!!!

I tried that last season. This year I got rid of all that crap and caught more fish. Save your money.

If you run a Daisy Chain off a Kone Zone you will be safe if you balance the weight of the K/Z in direct porportion to the D/C.
If not, rotation and circular motion will never assemble in the ultimate spin rate.

just my 5 cents worth. [:p]
