Do you let them eat it all right away or do you spend the next two weeks fighting with them not to eat it?

I let my daughter eat as much as she wants on Halloween. She is older now so not into it as much but when she is younger it made for some pretty interesting nights. One year a nice lady let her use the facilities mid candy stroll.

We ration it out. My kids are aged 6 and 4. We just finished our longest trick and treat route to date. Now contentedly sitting around the propane fire drinking hot chocolate, waiting for kids at our house. The kids have enough for a couple months I’m guessing.

Thanks all good advice, anyone noticing more fire works this go around seems like operation shock and awe around my house

We took the kids to a few houses to trick or treat at . Grandma and grandpa dropped more candy off before that though . Me and wife will help to eat it all lol.
Yes lots of fire works this year . Dog is going nuts

We live on a quiet little one lane street in the forest in North Van so we only get the local kids.

My wife grew up in a large family with not much money in Winnipeg. Her dream was to one day be "the house" where they gave away the "big chocolate bars".

We are that house now and my wife also buys Lindt bars for the moms.

We have been hearing the fireworks since Wednesday and they went till 1 am this morning.

I was up again at 4 am because an extremely dedicated fireworks enthusiast starting setting off firecrackers again. They seems to have stopped for now.
