Islander Reels Maintenance

While you getting one you might as well get two because you have to match up the other rod. I am thinking new flat panel 42in plasma TV or two islanders. Looks like I am getting a new TV.

Yeah salmon9 I thought the same thing wouldn't look balanced would it ?
Do you think its necessary to match the colours too ?
Don't want a clash with the trim on my boat!

..funny..the camry is a truck compared to the BMW, more reliable, but a truck.. Supra (the old one) to BMW is a better comparison.

Islanders do not catch more fish, but they do, like any good low/smooth drag, palmable, single action with a low retrieve ratio reel..make just about any salmon North of 15# a LOT more fun.

IF you are just about.."more" fish, why stop at a 320? get the 50 wide and , 50# test line, and 8/O hocks and just surf them in at mach 6..

they are smooth, works of art and a hoot. Can say the same thing about a well tuned $60 Peetz...

Walleyes,, everyone would like to go "First Class" but not all can AFFORD to. Most make do with what we can afford. Just my 2Cents Tight Lines,.........BB P.S. Caught many a Walleye in Northern Ont. and Manitoba
