Is this gear worth it?? need some feedbacks pls

The reel is a Shimano 2000FA reel Syncopate. The rod is a Shimano FX-2652A, Length is 6'6'', Line WT is 6-15, Lure WT is 1/4-3/4 oz.

the guy selling this is asking for $80. but I think thats way overprice.

I tried doing research but unable to find much info. Even on Shimano website I couldnt find anything. Any info on the equipment is greatly appreciated.

Usage: general fishing purpose.
Pricing: any suggestions on the price I should ask for?

Doesn't look too bad a unit for very light duty use on a trout rod.
Not big enough for Salmon use by the looks of it.

$80.00 for a used open face that you most likely will never get parts for???? The rod's worth nothing by the way.

Seems a bit overpriced to me as well. You can get a much better reel with more bearings and better drag system for $80, not counting the rod which really isn't worth much.

Doesnt sound like a good deal to me. Even walmart has a decent rod and reel combo for 49.99 that is good beggining rod for trout and stuff like that. I think its a shimano combo. Other than that for $80 you can find a pretty nice new rod from a store.
