Is Chinook retention for area 29 a firm deal for September 1st?

Just getting myself ready for the opening day of Chinook retention September 1st.

Getting some last minute gears at Berry's, and staff there said it is still not a firm deal yet, DFO still haven't send out the email to confirm it is open.

So if we don't get an email from DFO by tomorrow, it is a no go on Tuesday?

Anyone has more information?

Thank you!

As with anything dfo related, they will announce it the day before, last minute as possible.

It does not have to be lifted as the original notices say effective sep 1. Two a day any size

That's great, so if we don't get a notice saying it is not allowed, then it is good to go right?

I really don't know why DFO is making the rules so hard to follow.

Thank you for sharing the above information
