i have kiln dried chip bricks if your interested. we sell by the weight at 180$/1ton which is equivalent to over 1 chord worth of wood fiber as theres very little water weight in that. several forum members use them and everyone seems to love them!
pm me if you have any questions.
Generally around $150.00 per cord for good dry wood around here. Depends who's out of work and looking to make a few bucks sometimes too.
And a cord is 128 cubic feet, not square feet.................simple enough error to make though so no harm done.
I burn wood and have for a number of years now.
Haven't bought furnace oil for seven or eight years at least.
Bit dirtier and some work involved but we like it so far.
Might be different if I get really old and feeble. LOL
Lots of people paying $200 a cord now. I still prefer paying $15-$30 to cut my own. With sides on my truck and piled high I can get a true cord into my S/B 3/4T.

What the hell is a face cord anyway? My neighbour bought one for 200 bucks 2 years ago, I told him he got hosed. hahaha It looked like about 2/3rds of a regular cord to me when it was laying in his driveway.
I cut my own as I always here of trees coming down or when I can, me and a buddy buy it by the logging truck load.
Me and my buddy have sold the odd cord here and there when we have lots and get 180 for them no problemo but I think it depends where on the Island you are as to what you pay. I'm in Vic.
