how costly is putting on a out board ???

hey guys, i am just curious about buying an older boat hull, like a K&C, or sangster and putting a outboard on it??? is it even reasonable or worthwhile if i can find a boat around thousand bucks or so???

just curious, i only ask because i have seen a bunch on craigs list for real cheap!!??

Hey Spillytalker,
If you mean "put on a Pod and Outboard", I wouldn't do it. I say so because I am in the midst of doing exactly that. A 1981 21 foot K & C and a Pod and outboard.
Its way cheaper to buy a used or new working boat. Once you start something like this, it never ends and the cash never stops flowing. I am not done yet, and I could have already bought my dream boat. Fixin and riggin boats is expensive and very time consuming.
