In the pic below:-
There are a lot of rubber lures with the squirly tail on them. Gives them a great wiggling lifelike action.
The smaller black and white ones in the pic are NOT actual ones I'd use...they're just there to show the type of squirly tail found on some other bigger different lures.
The one in the teaser head I would use.
Many of these rubber lures can be cut with an exacto knife to fit properly into different heads.
I imagine many of them would work in a Jughead.
But......the one thing I can't figure out is how to rig the hook far enough back for the short-biters and yet not have the hook interfering with the action of the squirly tail.....
Any ideas on how you would do it?
