Hewescraft Searunner 220

Hi Big Grif,
I have the exact searunner you are thinking of getting. I bought it in Washington as it worked out about $15000 cheaper than in BC (2010).
I have only had minor niggles with the boat eg the lining on the cabin coming loose, although last year I had to take it back because of corrosion problems around screwheads .
They fixed it ok but it was still a pain in the butt having to drag it down there.
As a fishing boat I have nothing against it but not the best boat to sleep on as my wife will testify.Ours is powered by a 150 yammy and does about 24-25 mph at 4000rpm-works out
at 6-6.5 gallons per hour.
We had ours altered at the factory .Done away with the aft bulkhead and door ,got a drop curtain instead. Reason being that we only use the boat in the summer and this way you have one big
through working space instead of the boat being split in two.
Conclusion ; good fishing boat (also for offshore) but look elsewhere if you and your loved one intend staying on it for more than a couple of nights.
