Hi Gents,
A good friend of mine is going to sell his 2018 Huey as soon as his house in Bidwell Bay sells; as they plan to move closer to their grandkids in Langley. He's wondering (and so am I) what it's worth. The main engine is a 200 HP Yamaha with a stainless prop and only 140 Hours on it. (The 9.9Hp Kicker has virtually zero hours. I've had him run it just to make certain it will between service intervals.) It's been very well maintained by Checkpoint Yamaha and winterized correctly for it's indoor winter storage. It's never seen the real Ocean as it never goes outside of the Lion's Gate Bridge!
The photo above is from they day they bought it in 2018, before the Engines were mounted. That Trailer is going to be included, which is also in excellent shape. It has a Lowrance elite 7 Ti, but the down side for fishermen is it lacks the rear helm control, and for the old folks out there, no rear gate for easy access.
According to a Hewescraft Project engineer at the Vancouver 2024 Boat Show, they can easily add both. (It's not cheap though.) I added Scotty Mounts and Wiring for Down Riggers and we chased Pinks in Indian Arm 2 years ago, but that's the only Fishing it's ever seen. The bottom paint is in good shape, and has been kept up / replaced as needed. New Batteries were installed a month or so ago. We cruised it up to the Indian River a couple weeks back, and it runs just as good as it did when new.
I have no clue as to what this is worth. Do you?
Thanks for your inputs.
