Anyone know if Hawthorne lake (just outside Port Alberni) is frozen over?

Given that the ponds near the Falls Pool are now capped, and that Hawthorne is well above those (388 meters) I would be surprised if it was still open. Only one way to find out though...

I figured so. Just went out Taylor way...lots of snow.
