looks catchy...

Plugs I think/ have heard are more about the action than the colour. Would probably worth a try... Looks fishy! Personally, All I have is tomics (Quite a few good colours) and now and then I try them - never tried J-plugs but you do see those from time to time alongside the Tomics - Hard enough fishing as it is sometimes where I'm at so I really don't spend much time 'experimenting' ;)

You don't see all that many J-plugs around this neck of the woods any more....there used to be a lot more around a few years back with a bigger color selection.

J-plugs work good.......I've caught more fish on J-s than Tomics back in the day.....

Most J-plugs made now end up being shipped to stores around the Great Lakes I'm told...

Are you answering your own question sea fever? Sounds like you might have more experience with these plugs than most.

Not that colour-I once found a J-Plug floating up @ Langara I guess some commercial troller lost it looked like the photo.

Anyway I used it a few times but it was no better than anything else-never liked the colour should have hit it with a White spray bomb.

I had seen them used at China Creek back in the 80's. I recently read that some people recommend the chrome ones for Lakers. I've seen Bob Izumi's show, from Ontario, out on a charter boat and you can see the captains tackle hanging around the boat which included a blue/ chrome J-plug.

Dave S:-

The question is about whether anyone has used the particular color in the picture.......

It isn't about whether J-Plugs are better than Tomics.

I have never used the color of plug in the picture.........which is what the question is about.......

Hmmmmmm...............A chrome plug with purple back and light pink down the sides....why is this even a question of course it will catch a Chinook without question.

I'll give these a go too.........the one in the middle, years back a buddy of mine had a J-plug almost identical in color to that with some purplish metallic on it....and it was deadly on Chinooks....
