You could put it in front of your bait on a spreader bar rig ................................ wouldn't hurt. If that does not work save for the pride parade.
I have used LED lights before and found that many are poor quality and they cannot withstand the pressure of 300+ ft deep and stop working after a while. If you can find a good quality light that can withstand the pressure that would be great.
I have used LED's a lot and indeed have written lots on them here. Those particular type I have never had any luck with-the battery is smaller compared to the cylinder type ones and they don't last. I usually use cylinder type ones inside large hootchies but be aware that the light by regulation cannot be closer or farther away than a certain distance. There is a regulation so look it up- They can be very effective if used properly.
I had a couple white hoochies with the light in them and they absolutely killed it at Porlier one June. The next June the light stopped working, and they absolutely killed it again. Go figure.
