Hardy Reports

hmmm,, not gonna see ya in bamsterdam?

I have heard that there is some fish showing up locally. Some big fatties coming off Duval Pt last weekend, couple over 30 anyways. I have not really put in anytime yet this summer, busy with cottage crap. Start this weekend so will have more to report.

Good luck buddy. Catch 'em up!! :)

Blair ,may cancel entire 22 guy aug trip to seabeam. Heard there may be 100% chinook non retention coming for barclay sound. If so we will go to renfrew or somewhere else instead. 2nd yr to hardy in july for week then down to renny for 10 days. What have u heard about closure?

We used to catch Halibut up here regularly. Spent a full day and nothing to show for it. Is the area fished out?

Nope-- bottom fishing and salmon fishing is still very good-- Just be prepared to hunt.

Piles of Chinook at Duval and Castle the last few days and a crazy amount of coho just showed up at Daphne. Huge coho to, average about 10lbs, they are here early but no complaints here. Don't have to run anywhere right now as the fish are local. Wind is suppose to come down tonight so tomorrow should be go time.

Me thinks- 77 and under inside the surf line starting aug 1st... This is gonna sure hurt the local economy.. Sounds like yer crew would be about 40-50k between all of ya.. Sucks...

Lol Dave will be practically drooling by now!!

Just follow the guides they love it :)

Actually, you're way better off following your fish sense and your bottom contour lines. Leave the guides alone. They don't love it or need it (and only crackers and scissor bills follow other boats)

And anyway, what's cooler then finding a pocket of springs all by your lonesome self?
