Halibut Jigs

Seeing as Halibut season is about to start I was wondering what everyone uses? Today I made up a few jigs that I'll put behind a spreader bar with some bait

Those look good, i like the u.v.tube and scent container.
You might have to market those Casper !

Thanks Craven but can't take all the credit saw one similar on a website awhile ago and just rigged it more for Halibut. The Hoochie them selves are also UV glow. Can't wait to try them out.

Very nice job. Where did you get the scent tubes? And what size hooks did you use?

Had the tubes and I think that the hooks are #16? You can get the tubes at Trotac.

those look great i do something very similar pink/purple works good and the blue ones were killer last year!!getting excited
!!! glow and uv tubing works great also on these setups for spacing the hook /hooks

Neat looking lures Casper and using circle hooks to boot. Obviously you are not a proponent of the crowd on the circle hook thread who shouted loudly that circle hooks are all ********!! (Notwithstanding evidence to the contrary) LOL

Put some decent j-hooks on those units are you'll have a winner!

want to look at a good hook have a look at the Big River Bait hooks by Gamakatsu I have tied up some leaders with these suckers. I'm using the 10/0 and the 12/0 hooks.
