There is no way that link even includes a fraction of them....3 based out of Victoria, one of which is "pedder bay marina by oak bay marine group".... Great thread and it should continue for up to date information. I've always been interested in booking a charter with a group of friends/relatives from out of town as well as my wife has thought of booking a charter for a special occasion for me. This would be a great informative thread to at least get a better idea of what's available.

Ps. If I were to ever book a charter and or my wife I would base it off this site and what I've seen here (being a daily lurker and occasional poster) vs going to the yellow pages or a google search...

Its not a hijack!!! You may recall the some time ago it was said if you wanted to advertise there was a way to do it. Could be why no one posted but BearCove. Most of us know the rules......

Its a shame that a website based on supporting guides, lodges, and more importantly the community and area of which they come from, cannot be promoted or supported in a simple forum based manner. A member contacted me to explain some of the ins and outs of why this is.

The reasons are understandable but if it boils down to advertising, it seems the current marketing scheme is out of date, or needs a revamp.

"I never look at the front page", ya, me neither lol. I love sportfishing and the forums here are my homepage (is that sad? haha) It is the place I would come to find a guide and I'm sure others (thanks for your input jaymasta) feel the same. Some people have it in their signatures which I guess is ok by the books...
