Found this ad intersting - / 60% off fishing trip
Ok the ad says regular $500.00 for a fishing trip for 60% off / Groupon price $199.00.
Sounds fantastic, right ? Normally with Groupon you can always know you will get a good deal.....
When you read futher the business ad states the Groupon is good for 2 people and based on 4 on the boat so that means 2 groupon tickets per boat. The cost then is $398.00 for the boat for 4 hours ( 4 people min/ 2 Groupon tickets max).
A fair price but I doubt 60% off the trip ???? The ad says the groupon ticket ( for 2) has a value of $500.00 which means the regular value of the boat for 4 hours with 4 customers would be $1000.00. Sounds rather doubtful to me.
They sold out quickly so the ad worked well for the guiding operation - I just hope they don't get customers coming as couples realizing once they arrive at the boat with one groupon that they actually need 2 groupons to get a private charter for 4 hours.
