I had a client that was charged with dangerous operation of a conveyance, specifically a jet boat.
I sent Crown Counsel a youtube compilation of jet sprint boat crashes, to show what was normal and professional pilotage for these vessels.
He was shocked at what he saw and it prevented the matter from going to trial.
Small fine that we had directed to a local streamkeepers organization.

A guy that used to do the photography from my boat racing days with the Fraser Valley drag boat association is going down to these now and taking photos. Bless our American friends, they come up with the craziest ways to do motorsports.

I'd love to watch them run those man made courses one day hang them out and peddle to the metal as they say. My home town puts on the World of jet boat races sure miss watching them. Hopefully the link works check out the 1:45 minute mark
