Have to remember 10K is less than 100 hours at typical shop charge out rates. There will be more than 100 hours into this repair is my guess.

These guys are pros, I base my estimate on some work he’s done on my friend boat,maybe I am out to lunch but I was amazed how cheap it was to fix a log hit, and quick turn over

I know they are pros but this is a redo on 75% of a hull side. You don't fair this out in a day. It's going to cost a buch but it will also look like it never happened.

Well we will see if Derby shares the cost, my buddy’s boat had a 4 ft long by 6” wide gap and it was cheap
